The construction and demolition industry produces large amounts of waste products such as concrete, bricks and road material that can be processed and reused in other projects. In 2019, JGC were engaged to obtain the approvals needed to develop a facility located in the Sunraysia region which will help recycle this waste including crushing, sorting and washing facilities. The team at JGC also provided specialist input in relation to air emissions and acoustics for the project. After careful due diligence and preparation, the project was supported by the Tribunal and the facility is now in operation and successfully processing and saving waste for reuse.
