JGC are currently engaged by a landowner of 38,000 ha located on the western side of the Lower Darling River north of Wentworth. The land is close to the river and has suitable soil for the planting of citrus, almond, pistachio and vine crops. JGC are managing the approvals process for 2,800 ha to be converted from leasehold land to freehold, and the approval for water licences to enable the irrigation of the crops. The proposal had to consider vegetation, soils, cultural heritage, hydrology and irrigation design.
