Notification of Publication of Final Preliminary Documentation (EPBC
2025/10281)
The following notice is published in accordance with Section 95B (4) of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act)
Fortitude Constructions Pty Ltd are proposing to develop 290.5 ha of land for
irrigated horticulture at Pine Park which is located near Monak NSW. The proposal
will expand on the area currently approved for irrigated horticulture on the property.
The proposed action has been determined to be a “controlled action” under the
EPBC Act. The controlling provision under the EPBC Act is “Listed threatened
species and communities” (Sections 18 and 18A). The Commonwealth Department
of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water has advised that the project will be assessed by preliminary documentation lodged with the referral.
The draft preliminary documentation was placed on public exhibition from
Monday 3 rd November to Friday 14 th November 2025. No public submissions
were received during this period, and the period for public comment has now
closed.
The final preliminary documentation will be on display for 10 business days
from Monday 24 th November to Friday 5 th December 2025 at the following
locations:
- Wentworth Visitor Centre, 61 Darling Street, Wentworth NSW 2648
Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm and Saturday 9:00am – 2:00pm - Local Land Services, 32 Enterprise Way, Buronga NSW 2739 Monday to Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm.

The following notice is published in accordance with Section 95B (4) of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act)
Junction Vineyards Pty Ltd are proposing to develop 1,263 ha of land for irrigated
horticulture on their property near Wentworth NSW. The proposal will expand on the area currently approved for irrigated horticulture on the property.
The proposed action has been determined to be a “controlled action” under the
EPBC Act. The controlling provision under the EPBC Act is “Listed threatened
species and communities” (Sections 18 and 18A). The Commonwealth Department
of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water has advised that the project will be assessed by preliminary documentation lodged with the referral.
